Welcome to Stará škola, a café near Anděl where time slows down over coffee and homemade cakes.
Baked by seniors who love their craft
The café is run by Elpida, a nonprofit that supports older people. Everything we serve is made by seniors, from the coffee to cakes baked after recipes just like your grandma used to make.

Saturday brunch and reservations
Every Saturday from 9 to 14 we serve brunch, and it is the only day we take table reservations. Pick your Saturday on the reservation page and complete it like an order, your confirmation arrives by e-mail. The checkout is in Czech, so if you get stuck, ask us at the counter or drop us a line.
